Parts of the Body

Free PowerPoint – ESL / EFL Vocabulary Learning | Plus Guessing Game | Body Parts

There are many different ways to teach EFL kindergartners about parts of their body. In my experience, a good way to begin with this lesson is through warm-up songs that is related to body parts. I like to use “Body Parts song for kids – This is me” by ELF learning. Then we talk about our body parts using visuals and integrating technology to introduce the target vocabulary words. There is one good interactive software that helps build vocabulary words for ESL/EFL learners that we use in class, it’s called Genki English. And of course games and using of any other hands-on materials to reinforce this topic would be highly beneficial for their learning.

Here is one that I could share for now that you might want to use in your class. This is a puzzle activity where I let my students match pictures and words. I printed and laminated 4 sets of these to group my students into four so that they can work collaboratively together as a team.

  2. Hi, I’m working with pre-schoolers and I liked your work, so I downloaded the ppts, but all of them seem to be corrupted, because I couldn’t open any of them.
